Freelance Cycling Instructor
Delivery of National Standard Cycle training including Bikeability.
You will be working mainly with young people of secondary school age and adults.
You will need to hold either the NSIQ or 1st4sport L2 award in order to carry out this work.
We can support you in obtaining this and bursaries are currently available for this via the Bikeabikity Trust!
You must have access to a roadworthy bike that you can use for commuting and during your work day.
Additional experience and/or qualifications relating to sports instruction, training education are desirable.
Work will be mainly within the Ribble Valley and in Pendle. This is a freelance role, which is ideal for someone who needs flexibility in their work.
Initially, we will be offering work with secondary school aged young people as part of our ‘widening participation’ project.
Other work cycling instructor work that is likely to be offered in addition to this is:
- Adult Cycle training
- Learn to ride sessions
- Led rides
- Other Bikeability work.
